For El Born, The Barcelona EDITION is a strong Marriott Bonvoy option: small and rooftop-led. Price the same refundable room in cash and points, and count only the tier benefits your stay confirms.

Marriott lists 100 rooms and suites at this El Born hotel, two of them penthouses. Several bars and restaurants sit alongside The Roof, with its outdoor pool, sunbeds, food, and cocktails. That compact, rooftop-led profile is the whole reason to shortlist the place, and it is also why room category matters more here than it would somewhere larger, if space and quiet are priorities. The same scale can narrow what Marriott Bonvoy makes available on award nights.

Bonvoy turns that into a cash-or-points decision. An award can look good against a high cash rate; an eligible paid stay can be worth more if earning and status progress are the point of the year. Neither price nor inventory for your dates is visible from here. Suites guarantee no upgrade, and breakfast or late checkout should carry a value of zero until the booking terms say otherwise. The one-pet, 15-kilogram limit and the fee that comes with it are hotel rules, not loyalty perks.
